OpenAI released Images 2.0 on April 21. It is now selectable in Woopicx chat next to Nanobanana 2.
One thing to know up front — GPT Image 2 does not support transparent backgrounds. If you need a transparent PNG, use GPT Image 1.5 instead.
What changed: text rendering accuracy is over 99%, multilingual text works well in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi and Bengali, the model plans the image before drawing, and it can pull current logos and product visuals from the web before rendering.
To switch, open chat, click the model name above the prompt box, and pick GPT Image 2. Costs 4 energy per image. Nanobanana 2 stays the default at 1 energy.
Use Nanobanana 2 for speed. Switch to GPT Image 2 when the prompt needs readable text or precise composition.
